Padres’ Green calls umpires ‘literally clueless’


Arizona Diamondbacks nearer Greg Holland threw a few tight inside pitches to the San Diego Padres’ Francisco Mejia throughout Sunday’s ninth inning, elevating questions on whether or not it was in retaliation for Padres pitchers hitting two Diamondbacks with pitches on Saturday in Phoenix.

Arizona supervisor Torey Lovullo mentioned all that mattered was that Holland received three outs to finish the Eight-Four victory.

However Padres supervisor Andy Inexperienced had some alternative phrases for the umpiring crew.

“Umpires being actually clueless on the sphere proper now. That is inexcusable at that time limit,” Inexperienced mentioned. “The primary one, OK possibly slips. The second, we all know what’s going on there. It isn’t misplaced on us in any respect. Whether it is misplaced on them (umpires), they don’t seem to be listening to the baseball recreation.”
